What we actually do

How we can actually help.

Not generic. Not abstract. Real, local support — from people who live two streets away, who've sat in the same waiting rooms, who know which oncology nurse is on this afternoon. Every service here is free.

M&S bra vouchers

After surgery, ill-fitting bras are uncomfortable and demoralising. Newly diagnosed? Pick up a £25 voucher for M&S Gibraltar — no fuss, no paperwork. Just ring us.

Hospital visits

Treatment can be lonely. A BCSG volunteer can sit with you at St Bernard's during chemotherapy — for the first session, or for all of them. Just say the word.

Counsellor signposting

Sometimes you need more than a friendly chat. We work with trusted Gibraltar-based counsellors and can refer you privately, with subsidised costs where needed.

Travel & hardship grants

For treatment that can't be done in Gibraltar, we help with travel costs to UK or Spain — flights, accommodation, taxis. If money is tight during treatment, talk to us. Quietly. Confidentially.

Practical help at home

Shopping during chemo. Lifts to appointments. A meal cooked and dropped off. A school pickup. We can't always promise — but we can usually find someone.

Connect with someone like you

We have volunteers who've had every type of treatment — lumpectomy, mastectomy, reconstruction, chemo, hormone therapy. Want to talk to someone who's been there? We'll match you.

Information you can trust

Plain-English booklets on surgery, treatment side-effects, lymphoedema, life after — all from reputable sources. Pop in or we'll post them to you.

For family & carers

Partners, parents, kids, friends — they need support too. We've supported plenty over the years. Same number. Same offer.

How to access it

It's genuinely simple.

There is no form. No referral letter. No eligibility check.

You call us on +350 5800 8944 or email info@breastcancergib.com. We listen. We help where we can. If we can't do something, we tell you who can.

Everything is confidential — we keep it between us unless you ask us to do otherwise.

What people say

In their own words.

"I rang on the worst day of my life. They picked up on the second ring and just listened. That call kept me going."

"The voucher seems small but it wasn't. After my mastectomy I couldn't face shopping. They sorted it before I asked twice."

"A BCSG volunteer sat with me at every chemo session. I never had to ask. She just kept turning up."

When you're ready

Pick up the phone. That's it.

No script. No notes to take. Just a friendly voice from up the road.
